children toys

Again Vecindario and Avenida de Canarias. Through all this street, and not only in this town - as it turned out, are the little “playgrounds” for children. Some kind of seesaws. The swinging flowers, elephants, cars and others. Very nice idea.

Hotel bodyguard

Hotel in Vecindario. At Avenida de Canarias - the main street in town and the longest on the island.

And inside the hotel of course permanent redecoration. And a big cactus, as you can see - blocking an entrance to hotel :) The cactus-bodyguard hehe

Somewhere in Telde, in a San Francisco district. Among the buildings and streets a little nook. And here, far away from shops - two market-carriages :)

Actually it’s not first time I see market-carriages far from markets. Here you can see them everywhere: inside houses, in garages, on a parking places, in a ditches, etc. Everywhere :)

very beautiful flower

Were today in Telde, walking through very nice, narrow, old streets in San Francisco district. Really nice place, really worth to see. Of course we had to also look in every place we passed, and in one of them we found an very old building and the rock flowerpot, with sth inside. I think one day it was a flower, but now? hehhe

everywhere are the cats

When you walking through the sea-passage in Playa del Ingles, in the late evening, you always see the Cats. Cats are everywhere - sitting on the avenue, on the stairs, under your seat in the cafe ;) Sometimes it looks very nice, like on this picture above :D

spanish wines

Spanish people, and of course also the canarians, used to drink wine very often. Especially to dinner, which is the main dish during the day. And very big too. Many restaurants have many different kind of wines in their wine bars or wine cellar. Here’s the example of one of it.
And I must admit that spanish wines are one of the best in the whole world :)

just dinner?

Today we decided to have dinner in a restaurant. We chose the one in El Ingles. Actually I don’t like El Ingles, but why not try to convince myself that all of the time I was wrong about it?

We ordered food, which really was was very tasty, especially meat. And everything was nice till the Moment comes.
In That Moment we looked under our table and we saw an awful, fat cockroach walking through the floor.

Really disguasting!

bucket-fish

The iron fishermen sitting on the dock of the bay in Playa de Arinaga. Next to him a bucket full of iron fishes. Nice :) From far away he looks like he was alive, real fisherman doing his fishing..

Canary emblem

This is an emblem of Canary Islands. As you can see: two dogs - characteristic for canarias, and in the middle part an image of all seven islands. One of them you can find in Las Palmas, on the government building.
