Through all this street, and not only in this town - as it turned out, are the little "playgrounds" for children. Some kind of seesaws. The swinging flowers, elephants, cars and others. Very nice idea. http://grancanariaphotos.info/2008/05/children-toys/ Hotel in Vecindario. At Avenida de Canarias - the main street in town and the longest on the island. And inside the hotel of course permanent redecoration. Among the buildings and streets a little nook. And here, far away from shops - two market-carriages :) Actually it's not first time I see market-carriages far from markets. Really nice place, really worth to see. Cats are everywhere - sitting on the avenue, on the stairs, under your seat in the cafe ;) Sometimes it looks very nice, like on this picture above :D http://grancanariaphotos.info/2008/05/everywhere-are-the-cats/ Spanish people, and of course also the canarians, used to drink wine very often. Especially to dinner, which is the main dish during the day. And very big too. Many restaurants have many different kind of wines in their wine bars or wine cellar. Actually I don't like El Ingles, but why not try to convince myself that all of the time I was wrong about it? Next to him a bucket full of iron fishes. As you can see: two dogs - characteristic for canarias, and in the middle part an image of all seven islands.
